Reflection

The big secret in life is that there is no big secret. Whatever your goal, you can get there if you're willing to work.

As 23 Things come to an end I enjoyed some aspects of the programme.
Some of my particular favourite things were a Doodle, IGoogle, Twitter and Flickr. I like Doodle, I have use this tool recently to set up night out for dinner with some of my colleagues and friends outside of work, the feedback I received was very positive. Flickr would be useful for my family, especially my sister as she will be able to send photos of her children to my mum in Barbados. I will try and continue to use my Twitter account, as I am not into social networking this will keep my feet wet.
I think web 2.0 may be useful for libraries and librarians, certain tools will be useful for individuals within libraries context.
Does having a Facebook page or a Twitter account makes a lot of difference to libraries? This is still new and we have to wait and see if the take up is good... In a sense libraries should utilize all tools that play a vital role in their future. For me I am happy not have a Facebook account, as I prefer to keep my privacy.

Finally 23 Things has given me a good taster of the social networking sites that are out there.
