I have browse the various libraries on Facebook and found this very interesting.
Facebook is very popular within the wider community, and Libraries have to keep up with student and other users and be up-to-date with all new technology.
I think student expect a lot more from their libraries and will use this as another access into the library catalogue and be able to ask questions to a librarian.
In some aspect using Facebook to interact with the student community might be cost-effective.
Personally, I feel that Facebook is not for me, so I will not be signing up for an account any time soon.
